After getting some water into my STV, I found
that the power switch had failed. To get
around this while I got the switch replaced,
I found that the switch could easily be
temporarily bypassed as shown below.

sent me a new power switch assembly within two
days of contacting them. The cost was $25 plus
tax and shipping.
The STV power switch bypassed with a jumper --
blue jumper replacing black wires. This leaves
power on all the time. The STV must be
unplugged to shut it off.
Warning: Verify your own unit's wire colors
and circuitry before attempting this!
