Another clear day allowed me to photograph the interesting string of sunspots again. The main string at the left side has changed in shape as expected, but the small group at upper right of the disk has sprouted a few more small spots. Unfortunately it looks like I won't get a chance to image the sun tomorrow as rain is predicted. Note that I rotated yesterday's image to roughly match today's shot.
Both shots were taken with Nikon D600 through a Borg 100ED refractor + Nikon 2x teleconverter (1280mm focal length). Exposures were 1/4000 sec. at ISO 500 and 320, respectively. Image processing was in Adobe Lightroom.
