This ultra-wide fisheye shot shows one of the two bright Camelopardalid meteors of the night. This camera was pointed towards the east, so the radiant, near the north pole, is on the left of the frame. The meteor is near the bright star Vega which is in the constellation Lyra.
Bright streaks along the horizon on the right are from traffic on Interstate 10, one of the main east-west highways across the U.S.
