Corona Borealis, the Northern Crown is anchored by a magnitude 2.2-2.3 variable
star located at the center of the crown. While the stars of the constellation are
not bright, they can be readily picked out by eye as a crown (or modern tiara) because of the
lack of brighter stars in the area. |
