Sunset in Cerritos takes on a strange character
as viewed through the smoke
of the huge Southern California fires of late
October. Cerritos was in the plume of the
fires burning in the San Bernardino Mountains
to the northeast.
The closeup below shows the
unusually large sunspot
groups currently on the sun which are
visible to the naked eye.
